You can forward just the calls you can't take: when you're on another call, when you don't answer, or when your phone is off. On TELUS that's three short codes, dialed once from the phone you're forwarding.

Dial *61*, then the 10-digit number you're forwarding to, then #. For example: *61*4165550123#. Busy calls work the same way with *67*, and calls while your phone is off with *62*.
How do I turn off call forwarding on TELUS?
Dial #67#, #61#, #62# from the forwarded phone. Calls go back to ringing your phone, then voicemail.
Will my phone still ring?
Yes. Conditional forwarding only steps in when you're busy, don't answer, or your phone is off. Every other call rings as usual.
